Manual Lymphatic Drainage - MLD
(VODDER METHOD)

We use the Vodder method by clearing the lymph nodes and using a gentle skin stretch movement to dilate lymphatic vessels to open and receive fluid to process. We treat the entire body for a full-body flush and to detox the body of toxins and waste.

For post-surgical clients, we use a combination of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, post-surgical massage, and lymphatic cupping to combat swelling and help shape the body.

MLD is a hands-on technique to help aid in the flow of the lymphatic system. We perform MLD for those with clogged lymph nodes, lymphedema, lipedema, post-cancer, allergies, and general health to rid toxins from the body.

Post-Surgical MLD after Liposuction- Tummy Tucks- BBL- Face Lift- Arm Lift-Thigh Lift:  Lymphatic drainage has been proven to reduce swelling, relieve pain, detoxify the body, and speed up the regeneration of tissues and cells. These treatments may also prevent seroma (a pocket of clear serous fluid) and fibrosis (thickening or scar tissue under the skin) if received soon after surgery.

Ask your surgeon when you should start the post-op massages. Many surgeons recommend that the first 48 hours and the first two weeks after surgery is most successful for the lymphatic system in flushing fluid and inflammation. Clients with Lipedema liposuction are advised to have a massage before and after surgery. Ask your doctor what is best for you.

90 Minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage sessions include a LEG WRAP TREATMENT for circulation.

NOTE: We provide Lipo foams and perform Kinesio Taping if needed!

Lymphedema Treatment

Lymphedema occurs when the lymph system is damaged or blocked. Fluid builds up in soft body tissues and causes swelling. Lymphedema may appear after removing lymph nodes during cancer, some people are born with the condition, or it may develop after an accident. Lymphedema usually affects the limbs.

We perform MLD and clear the pathways toward healthy lymph nodes and apply Kinesio Tape to the area to aid in the flow of the lymph. (We do not measure for compression garments or bandages)

Lipedema Treatment

Lipedema is a condition that causes excess fat to accumulate in the lower part of the body and can sometimes lead to lymphedema by blocking the lymphatic pathways. It can be excruciating, and diet and exercise seldom help. Liposuction performed by a surgeon specializing in lipedema fat removal is often the best treatment. We can also help those who opt not to have surgery by using ultrasound and radio frequency to treat the area and using MLD. Suppose the client does decide to have liposuction. In that case, it is imperative to have MLD after the surgery, and most surgeons may even have the patient come in before surgery to clear the lymphatic blockages.

Fibrosis Treatment

During liposuction, the surgeon uses a thin metal rod called a 'cannula" to suction adipose tissue. This creates spaces where blood and lymph fluid collect and can become burdensome, developing fibrosis. To break up fibrosis (hard scar tissue), we use a technique involving MLD, hot therapy and vibration, negative compression, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization IASTM to rid hardening and lumps under the skin. Fibrosis foams help break down the scar tissue and wear under compression garments.

NOTE: We provide each client with the proper Fibrosis foams per treatment

Body Contouring

A supervising physician monitors all procedures provided by our Master Estheticians.

CAVITATION: Concentrated ultrasonic energy levels target and destroy subcutaneous fat cell membranes. The fat is then dispersed into surrounding cells and recycled into proteins and glycerol.

VACUUM THERAPY: This controlled depression localizes destroyed fat cells to flush into the Lymphatic System

RADIO FREQUENCY THERAPY: This technique relies on heating the skin tissue to produce more collagen and tighten the skin.

LIPO LASER: The technician places pads with laser diodes directly onto the skin. The laser energy penetrates the fat cells and creates tiny membrane holes. This causes the fat cells to release the stored fatty acids, glycerol, and water into the body, then flushes out the expelled fat cell contents to the Lymphatic System or burns them for energy.

Chin Contouring

Using radio-frequency and negative pressure applied to the chin and neck is a non-invasive way to remove adipose tissue and fat deposits and firm and tighten the skin. Our licensed Master Aestheticians can help you determine the best treatment course using individual protocols, depending on your needs and wants.

Ice Sculpting

Ice sculpting is an organic way of sculpting, toning, and slimming the body. The treatment activates the skin's blood flow and thermogenesis. The active ingredients absorb into your body and dispose of toxins, firming, toning, activating collagen and elastin production, and processing these toxins through the lymphatic system. This activation is giving oxygen to the cells and revitalizes the skin. These herbs and clays will dissolve fat deposits, so skin looks firmer and cellulite free. And best of all, it’s organic! A perfect treatment for those who are post-partum or have stubborn fat.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is one of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It's sometimes called a classic massage. The technique aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue and better suited for people interested in peace and tension relief. Add hot stones or cupping for a personalized session.
